Big things cooking

I'm sitting in the livingroom with Caleb, Jill & Katy. The dogs think it's too hot to go outside and Caleb is napping on my lap.
I just got back from interviewing at Spring Hill high school for the head volleyball coach job. We have been praying for this to happen for so long and now that it's here I'm overwelmed. This has been one of my biggest goals, to be head coach, for a long time. But now Caleb is here and I don't want to miss a thing. But in all of our praying and late nite talking Chrispy reminded me that both of these things are answers to our prayers and GOD won't give me anything I can't handle. I honestly get all giddy when I think about running my own program.
Here are some of the joys of summer. Aubrey and Lolo came over today for a while, then Chrispy went out to camp Pirtle for the day. Caleb and I are sitting around with the baby dogs... life is good.
Here are some wonderful pictures of Caleb taken by our friend Mark. I think they show off how wonderful our baby truely is. One of my peaks for the day is that Caleb slept 5 1/2 hours last nite!!! And that was wonderful!
Speaking of big things cooking. I'm not going to tonite, McAlisters here we come. The Boy is also cooking up something in his diper... again! And God is always cooking up a new adventure for us. Isn't that exciting?

Caleb's first days

These are some pictures of Caleb's first days in the hospital. We were so blessed to have so many visitors including Mom and Dad Pruitt, The Sample grandparents and the Peurifoy grandparents and lets not forget all the aunts and uncles and cousins that came by. It was like a mini-vacation, except that Jill and Katy didn't get to come.

We still can't believe he's here. May 27, 2007, the day after we got of school for summer break.

Enjoy! We do everyday!

Wii Fun and Wee Fun

Chris, Caleb and I are sitting at home enjoying an evening with the Sims (Jeff, Kristina, Juliana and Noah). We, the adults, are playing a Wii game "Big Brain Academy". Every three hours of the Sims visit we have to pause for our wee ones and feed them. Juliana and Caleb constantly demand food. Noah is already in bed.

Today Caleb turns 3 weeks old! Lots of things have happened in the last three weeks. Not that I would or could remember all of them. I'm still in a daze. The three hour cycle of eat, poop, sleep is driving my crazy already. We put on a cute outfits on him, stare at him, play with his little arms, tickle his little feet. I know one day he'll be in junior high and I won't even get to hug on him, so I'm getting all my kisses in now.

Here are a few pictures to show the last couple of weeks.
