VOLLEYBALL WEEKEND

THIS WEEKEND MY VARSITY TEAM WAS IN THE GILMER TOURNEY. I WAS SO PROUD OF THEM FRIDAY WHEN WE CAME IN SECOUND IN THEIR POOL. WE HAD A FUN DAY. CHRISPY WENT WITH US, HE'S SO MUCH FUN.

SATURDAY CHRISPY AND MR. MILKEY FACE CAME TO OUR TOURNEY. CALEB WAS A GOOD BOY ALL DAY.

WE LOST THE FIRST GAME OF THE DAY IN A HEARTBREAKER. BUT WON THE NEXT TWO MATCHES. THE BEST WIN OF THE WEEKEND WAS AGAINST ATLANTA. THEY BEAT US EARLIER THIS WEEK AND WE BEAT THEM FOR THE CONSOLATION TROPHY.

THIS MORNING CALEB & I ARE UP TOGETHER. HE'S ENJOYING A BOTTLE AND GETTING READY FOR A NAP BEFORE CHURCH. I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO LUNCH AT MOMS. WE ARE CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY WITH LIMON MARANGUE PIE.

The Gonzo's Visit to Longview

We had such a good time at the end of July when the Gonzalez family came to visit. Sam, Ann, Victoria, Sofia and Olivia stayed with us for 3 days and we had a blast.

The Pruitt's, Peurifoy's and Gonzalez went crazy most of the time. There was breakfast for dinner on sunday night. The Sims were in town and joined in the fun. (Caleb's crying)

Monday the boys all went fishing and the girls had a good time swimming. We all went out to eat and to watch Ricky's soccer game.

Tuesday we basically woke up, played guitar hero, went to eat at McAllister's Deli. Sam kept singing a song about going back to Mexico where he's from. And Chris sang it for 2 days after they left.

There are some friendships that just pick up where they left off the last time and ours in one of those friendships. (Caleb fell asleep). What a blessing, thank you Lord.

I have a wedding picture with Aubrey, Victoria, Lolo, Sofia, Susanna & Kinzie. All of these girls have grown up soooo much and have such cute personalities. It was fun to watch them play together.

We, Chris, Caleb & I, plan to go visit Sam and Ann next summer and help them on a summer project. Morelia, Mexico sound like a cool place to visit.

MAMA'S BIRTHDAY

My birthday was great!

August 17th was on a Friday this year. Caleb was 12 weeks old. I had gone from 224 lbs to 180 lbs. I'm back in my clothes!! Well most of them. My birthday also marked the end of breast feeding & pumping. Done!!

A great way to celebrate my birthday is to be at the beach or a volleyball tourney. So I didn't get to go to the beach, but the tournament was fun.

I am the varsity volleyball coach at Spring Hill ISD and I love it. I have 13 girls on my team and I really like them. We have so much fun together. I believe that is what will put us over the top at the end of the season.

I got phone calls from everyone that day. Chris gave me some much needed shorts for coaching. Mom is giving me one un-interrupted nite of sleep. I can't wait! I got a michaels gift card for my next cake class. I got a Beatles CD. All that's good stuff, but being home with Caleb & Chris would have been enough.

I hate that summer is over, where did it go?

One last note, I believe Katy and Jill have gone crazy! They play chase all of the time and bite on each other. Jill still sleeps with Chris and I. I wouldn't have it any other way.

PEURIFOY FAMILY REUNION #2

I just wanted to put a few more pictures from our weekend at Glenrose. Grandma Stella rocked Caleb to sleep. Mary, Wayne & Bella went to breakfast with Chrispy, Caleb and I at this cool little restaurant in down town Grandbury. Grandma Marilyn made him laugh. We really did have a good little visit.

PEURIFOY FAMILY REUNION

Last weekend we had a quick trip to the Peurifoy Ranch "Roadrunner Ranch" in Glenrose, Texas.

We had a chance to see Grandma Stella, Grandmommy & granddaddy Peurifoy. Caleb had the chance to meet Aunt Becky, Cousins Amy, Stephanie & Jenni & Bret and their kids Madeline & Landon. Then Stella's sister in law Natalie and her girls Holly & Penny with hubby Ike. And Mary, Wayne & Bella were there too.

We had a wonderful fast and furious 24 hour trip. But it was plenty of time to get Caleb held by his grandparents and to see Grandma Stella. Larry and Marilyn have fixed their little house up so awesome, everything looks great!

On the way home we made a pit stop at Target and ran into Mary & Wayne. Then we met up again in Terrell and ate dinner together. Bella gets cuter every time I see her.

Well, we've had a great summer. We've had a chance to spend time with all of the grandparents. And we've had a chance to get to know this little boy named Caleb. Thank you God for blessing us with this crazy life!

Momma goes to volleyball

So this was a crazy week! I went back to work from 7:30 till about 4:30 everyday. I am working with some really cool ladies: Holly, Karen and Leigh. We brought lunch and ate together everyday and we were joined by Stacey and Deyton. The volleyball part was great. By Wednesday we cut the teams and had a few dissapointed kids but overall everyone was happy. Thursday was a fun day, you know being the head coach I get to practice with the big girls, fun, fun, fun.

Eventhough I had a blast I did miss my boys. Chrispy was a single dad all week. He and Caleb would find friends and grandma's to go visit. Morgan and Tana came to visit him, He went to visit Mark for lunch, wednesday he came and walked the track I honestly don't know everything they did, but he decided that he didn't want to be a single dad. Mary Ruth and Debbie came over one day with Debbie's new Escalade and Bella. One night we went out to eat with Mark, Debbie & Darwin at Joe's pizza (my favorite restaurant).

Every evening I would get home dead tired and overjoyed to see my boys. The only problem is that Caleb still doesn't sleep through the night so even if he went down by 9:30 he was back up by 3:30. Yikes!

Well, here are some pictures of the week. I sure did enjoy my summer and I miss my time with Chrispy and Caleb.

Good Night Grandmommy!

Well, Caleb has been busy this week with his daddy. Caleb & Chrispy have been all over Longview trying to give me some time to get ready for volleyball. At night we are dead tired and Chris and I keep praying for that first night that he'll really sleep in. Last night he slept from 11:00 to almost 6 am if that's not all night I don't know what is!

Well, with everything we've had going on Caleb hasn't got to go over to Grandmommy Pruitt's house this week and since he won't stop crying I think he wanted to say good night to Grandmommy.

I love you mom! We'll see you tomorrow!
